INTERGENERATIONAL Community Garden
Projecting to open in Vista, California
This Project is designed to unite young people, the elderly, veterans and the disabled in a nurturing and vibrant outdoor environment.
Set to launch this spring, the community garden aims to foster a unique educational and social experience, bringing together students from local schools and members of the San Diego community. The garden will serve as a living classroom offering hands-on learning opportunities in horticulture, environmental science, nutrition, and behavioral science while also promoting the values of teamwork, responsibility and community service.

An Engaging environment
We look to engage students alongside seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities, we’re creating a platform for shared learning and meaningful interactions. The garden is not just about growing plants; it’s about cultivating relationships, understanding, and respect across generations and backgrounds.
The Garden Will Feature a Variety of Plantings, Including Vegetable Pots, Flower Beds, and Herb Gardens
All tended by this diverse group of community members. Special programs and workshops will be held regularly, allowing participants to acquire gardening skills, learn about sustainable practices, and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of gardening.
